Hoogla is a grass that grows in the southern parts of Bangladesh. The grass is harvested between February and March of the local farmers and has for a long time been used as a material for homewares. RedQ have taken advantage of this knowledge and tradition. In our collaboration with them we want to promote a production with consideration of mankind and the environment.
At RedQ the employers has 8 hours workday, vacation and a salary that they can provide their family's with.
The baskets are timeless, sustainable and made of a material that has grown without chemicals or irrigation.
